Use of this site
By accessing sourdaw.studio or the Sourdaw application, you agree to use the service in accordance with applicable laws and these terms. You may not use the service to transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
Your content
Your audio files, project files, and session content remain yours. Sourdaw does not claim ownership over content you create or load into the application. Local-first design means your files stay on your device unless you explicitly share them.
Alpha software
Sourdaw is in active development and provided in an alpha state. Features may change, break, or be removed. The service is provided as-is without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. Back up work you care about independently.
Audio software: hearing and equipment
Sourdaw is digital audio workstation software that can produce loud or sudden audio — for example from feedback, routing mistakes, bugs, or user settings. The software is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sourdaw Audio and its contributors are not liable for any damage to speakers, headphones, audio interfaces, or other hardware, or for any hearing loss, tinnitus, or other injury to health, arising from or related to your use of the software — including excessive volume, unexpected bursts, or malfunction. Use appropriate volume limits, hearing protection when needed, and safe monitoring practices.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sourdaw Audio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes loss of data or creative work resulting from software defects or service interruptions, in addition to the audio and equipment limitations described above.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the product and service evolve. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
